POSITION: Sales Representative

Cascadia Metals is a West Coast-based steel service and supply center focusing on coated metal products. We are looking for the right individual to fill a sales position. The right person will be driven, motivated, and career-minded.
Your duties as a sales representative will be to develop new business in your region as well as maintain an existing account load. You will be expected to perform outbound calls to develop sales opportunities and grow your regional market. You are expected to build and maintain a working relationship with your customer base and identify all opportunities within your market.
The ideal applicant will be computer literate, analytical, and have excellent problem solving skills. Your daily duties will include inventory maintenance, logistics planning, and processing scheduling. Some travel may be required.
Industry experience is not necessary, but preference will be given to individuals with a history in the steel industry.

POSITION: Warehouse Worker

LOCATION: Delta, B.C. Canada
We are looking for the right individual to fill a warehouse laborer position. The right person will be reliable and motivated.
Your duties as a warehouse laborer will include order picking, packaging, inventory maintenance, forklift operating, and crane operating. You will be expected to attend certification courses for all equipment on which you are not presently certified to operate. Applicants should be comfortable with working in a team environment.
The ideal applicant will be computer literate and able to operate a forklift.
Industry experience is not necessary, but preference will be given to individuals with a history in the steel industry.

POSITION: Inside/Outside Sales Representative

LOCATION: Calgary, AB. Canada or Edmonton, AB. Canada
We are looking for a professional and reliable individual to fill an inside/outside sales position, reporting to our Alberta offices. The right candidate will be driven, career-minded, and personable.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our existing customer base as well as locating and developing new customers. You will have a proven sales track record and be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Good organizational and time management skills required.
- Solid knowledge of Sheet Metal Distribution required.
- Strong negotiating skills required.
- Strong computer skills an asset.
- Proficiency at networking and cold-calling.
- Good communication skills required.
Duties to include:
- Sales calls (primarily within Alberta, & some Saskatchewan/Winnipeg area.)
- Strategically identifying new customers and following up with a visit.
- Ensuring current customers are being met with.
- Meeting or exceeding company-set sales targets.
- Using your time in the office to follow up on sales calls, make new appointments, share call reports, and communicate any pertinent information back to the company.

POSITION: Slitter Operator
JOB CATEGORY: Production/Processing
LOCATION: Delta, B.C. Canada
We are looking for an operator for the coil slitting line at our Delta, B.C. plant. The right candidate will be reliable, able to work well in a team environment, and willing to work our afternoon shift. (Four 10-hour shifts per week: Monday-Thursday evenings.)
Previous experience on this type of equipment is mandatory.
Your duties will include running coiled sheet metal orders, filling out production reports, and ensuring that material meets our quality requirements before being packaged. The ideal applicant will be computer literate, fluent in English, have excellent problem-solving skills, and able to operate a forklift. (We will supply forklift certification if necessary.)

POSITION: Truck DriverClass 3
JOB CATEGORY: Shipping

We are looking for a full-time truck driver for our Calgary Steel Service Centre. There are 3-4 daily loads, with multiple drops required for each load.
Requirements:
- A clean class 3 license with air-brake.
- A minimum 2 years previous experience.
The right candidate must be reliable, hardworking and a team player. A good benefits package is available after 3 months.
