Cascadia Metals is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team in our Mississauga, Ontariolocation.

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle customer service including receiving and accurately processing orders
  • Answering questions and following up with customers
  • Analyze and resolve customer complaints
  • Assisting in developing project bids
  • Creating and maintaining customer records
  • Developing new and existing relationships with clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A Post-Secondary degree is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior sales experience and ideally experience within the steel industry.
  • Experience with pre-painted steel would be an asset but is not a requirement to be considered for this role.

  • A good instinct for sales and building relationships with customers
  • Driven and results oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with strong ability to track, manage, and follow through on details

Cascadia Metals is seeking an experienced and motivated Loader to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position and is located at our Delta, BCbranch.

Who We're Looking for?

We are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion mindset and values. This role involves loading trucks and material handling. Preference will be given to those with forklift and steel handling experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading trucks from small customer pick-ups to full B-train trailers
  • Unloading trucks with coil, sheet and site supplies
  • Unload rail cars and containers
  • Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard
  • Organizing and sorting material for loading and space optimization
  • Scanning loads with an RF scanner
  • Reading paperwork to ensure accuracy of load
  • Double checking loads for accuracy
  • Poly wrap trucks
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Forklift experience
  • Crane experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Steel handling experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Flexibility; able to multi-task and work as part of a team
  • Ability to read orders and complete basic paperwork

About Us

Position Overview

A permanent, full-time general labourer which involves packaging of orders, building skids, general housekeeping, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strapping and banding material
  • Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard
  • Loading and unloading of trucks
  • Loading sheet metal onto skids
  • General material handling and housekeeping

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Steel handling and/or warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Forklift certification is mandatory
  • Flexibility; able to multi-task and work as part of a team
  • Able to read orders and complete basic paperwork
  • Must own steel toed boots and wear them on site at all times
