Who We're Looking for?

We are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion mindset and values. Cascadia Metals is seeking an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position and representing our Lachine, Quebec location. The successful candidate will be responsible for a specific Quebec and Maritimes territory and will therefore work from their home office along with traveling through to existing and potential client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving all territory business objectives including sales goals and growth
  • Developing, implementing and executing a territory business plan
  • Prospecting / cold-calling for additional business to create new customer relationships
  • Maintaining existing customer partnerships, building strong and lasting relationships with new customers
  • Delivering superior customer experience to achieve account retention and growth
  • Identifying and reporting market trends and competitor information with sales team members
  • Maintaining a level of knowledge on products
  • Supporting inside sales team where required
  • Acting as a role model for Cascadia Metals standards, values and behaviours

Requirements:

  • Vehicle ownership (driver's abstract may be requested)
  • Ability for overnight travel (during weekdays)
  • A post-secondary degree and previous experience in steel industry is considered an asset
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior sales experience

Ce rôle sera un poste permanent à temps plein et représentera notre emplacement de Lachine, au Québec. Le candidat retenu sera responsable d'un territoire spécifique du Québec et des Maritimes et travaillera donc à partir de son bureau à domicile tout en se déplaçant vers une clientèle existante et potentielle.

  • Atteindre tous les objectifs commerciaux du territoire, y compris les objectifs de vente et la croissance
  • Élaboration, mise en œuvre et exécution d'un plan d'affaires territorial
  • Prospection / démarchage téléphonique pour des affaires supplémentaires afin de créer de nouvelles relations clients
  • Maintenir les partenariats clients existants, établir des relations solides et durables avec de nouveaux clients
  • Offrir une expérience client supérieure pour assurer la fidélisation et la croissance des comptes
